Remodeling
+ Renovation

With remodeling and renovation,
you’re able to truly make your home your own.

Whether gutting a room entirely, or updating it by installing new material and appliances, each component plays off of each other. Not only do I guide you to reach the best design layout possible, but I help you understand the process and emphasize how much each step impacts the overall picture.

Planning is a major player in the remodeling and renovation game. I’ll surprise you with questions and ideas you may have never considered early on in the process. This helps the project run smoother, allowing for fluid communication on the job.

How this works:

After meeting in the space, taking measurements and discussing the changes you would like made, I create 3 basic layout options to work with. Slowly we begin to manipulate and evolve one of the floor plans to fit your needs and wants of the space(s). Once everything is as desired, I provide detailed schematic floor plans that include dimensions, as well as, any section and elevation drawings that are needed. As the construction process progresses, I maintain up-to-date plans of the space(s) for the contractors and subcontractors to work from.

I’m the sounding board, mouthpiece, therapist, project manager, janitor, designer, accountant (and sometimes bartender!)

“She really went out of her way and took our project very seriously as if it was her own home.”

I highly recommend Erin. She helped us design the complete layout of our kitchen remodel. We tore down some walls and she drew the final drawings for our contractor and reconfigured the entire kitchen, including cabinets, appliances, putting in an island and the layout of lighting and electrical. She is very thorough and thoughtful with her designs. My husband and I didn’t agree on much and she helped us understand the pros and cons of the different options. She’s a great communicator and always followed through. We didn’t hire Erin to PM the project end to end initially, but when we started having trouble with our contractor she stepped in firmly to help steer him on track as best we could. She really went out of her way and took our project very seriously as if it was her own home, helping us drive to the end result we wanted so we were happy. I look forward to partnering with her in the future on the color schemes and furniture layout now that the construction is complete.

All drawings prepared by the designer are schematic in nature and are to be used by the client and contractor in developing the space planning, layout and interiors. They are intended for (and do not represent) detailed construction drawings for use in permitting and/or construction of physical building features in regards to electrical, plumbing and structure. All such architectural, plumbing, electrical, etc. drawings must be developed, stamped and permitted by individuals or companies licensed to do so.

Are you ready for a space as unique as you are?
