Sparks Kitchen Remodel
Sparks, NV

This kitchen remodel was purely cosmetic, but you would never know it by the transformation!

With a softer color palette and white shaker cabinets, this kitchen feels more spacious and open. Still sticking with more neutral tones, the room takes on a whole new personality through the material choices. From the mixture of herringbone and plank tile backsplash to the rough edge quartzite island, the visual interests blend nicely without being overwhelming.

Under the gorgeous quartzite slab sits a larger island (OK, maybe a little more than cosmetic remodel). With this being a long great room where the kitchen flows into the dining area, my clients wanted to gain more storage and counter space, while still maintaining an eating area. The island comfortably sits 5 and provides ample room for the baker’s cake-making escapades! Whichever the moment calls for…

This was a fun remodel that had a huge impact on the look and feel of the room. The island is allowed to take center stage, but doesn’t outshine the other beautiful and unique characteristics. The varying combinations of material and use of line create unexpected, but satisfying moments that took this kitchen from a builder’s special to customized space that is great to entertain and create in.

“Erin has a great eye for style and functionality in spaces. ” – A & K Etchemendy

She listened to what we were wanting and then suggested ideas we hadn’t thought about to make better use of our kitchen space. She is always quick with responses and has been easy to work with. She was mindful at remembering what our budget was for the project and when all was said and done we could be happier with the outcome.

Are you ready for a space as unique as you are?
