Baby Girl’s Nursery,
Issaquah, WA

Along with the overwhelming feeling of being first time parents, my clients just didn’t know where to begin in their baby’s nursery. With a tight budget, two very different styles and a bit of indecisiveness, my clients and I began the process of designing their daughter’s bedroom. Pink was a necessity, ruffles and frill a definite NO and with playful, outgoing parents whose daughter was only going to be the same, I had a project in front of me.

With a home overflowing with liveliness, I combined differing patterns to compliment and continue that vibe, while bringing in pastel colors to create a calming and soothing environment.

The grey keeps the room grounded allowing the soft pink and other accents to brighten the space. Not wanting to crowd the room with décor, we brought in art and wall pieces that were playful with a sense of wonder and travel.
